Altruistik Malaysia Volunteer(AMV): Who We Are

AMV Mission

Altruistik Malaysia Volunteer (AMV) provides the community with the opportunity to grow as individuals and experience new challenges through volunteering and social action while contributing positively to the community. This is accomplish by providing volunteers access to high quality forms, social opportunities and supporting them to realize their own responsibility and ideas. AMV fulfills its goal by focusing its work on Y generation and X generation for initiatives addressing community needs and benefiting others, giving them community membership and responsibility. The current AMV task (November 2017-Subject to change) is focused on the national level. AMV is expected to build a high profile of the local community and be recognized as a reliable voice for volunteers in community development activities. AMV is in the form of working with volunteers from all over Malaysia and the world. Volunteers help communities with solutions-oriented projects. AMV focuses on empowering volunteers, especially young and underprivileged, so that they can become proactive change agents in their communities.

Objective

• Nurture and develop greater learning and development opportunities for young people by encouraging and supporting them to contribute, drive initiatives and lead their own led projects.

• To build strong relationships with organizations sharing same goals of the association, thereby increasing the ability of young people to build their skills and abilities to build personality, increase youth participation and long-term community development.

• To generate youthful sense of responsibility for their social actions and to develop youth engagement within the community.

Team members criteria are as follows:

I. Citizenship: Malaysia
II. Minimum Age: 18 Years
III. Ethnicity: All
IV. Gender: All
V. Religion: All
VI. Other Creteria: None

Registration fee: RM 10 (Ringgit Malaysia Ten Only)
Annual fee: RM 60.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Sixty Only)
Fees Resources are subject to the constitution of the association.
Member of the AMV team is subject to the guidelines of the association constitution.
